Accumulation – an increase in volume and increase in price from the previous session (any time-frame)

Demand – buying pressure; often in the form of price finishing near or at highs

Distribution – an increase in volume and decrease in price from the previous session (any time-frame)

IBD – Investors Business Daily

Supply – selling pressure; often in the form of price finishing off the highs

Trend – the general direction of a security or market

Volume – the number of shares traded in a session

VSA – Volume Spread Analysis; a school of investing that analyzes the relation between volume and price movements; founded by Tom Williams/TradeGuider

Trading Channel – a range of prices in which the market continues to bounce between; can occur in down-trend or up-trend
